Muhammed Muheisen
Muhammed Muheisen is a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, a National Geographic photojournalist, the founder and chairman of the Dutch non-profit organization Everyday Refugees Foundation, and a Global Ambassador for Jordan Tourism Board and Canon. A deep believer in changing the world one photo at a time, he has captured major events around the globe since 2001, and for over 15 years has documented refugee crises worldwide. In 2013, Muheisen was named by TIME as Best Wire Photographer, and in 2015, he founded the Everyday Refugees Foundation. Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the organization carries the mission to document, educate, help, and empower refugees, internally displaced people, and local communities affected by conflicts, poverty, discrimination, and natural disasters.
